Heavy duty Harrow Plough

The heavy duty harrow plough is agricultural machine mainly used for deep ploughing, soil  crushed and land levelling. It is an enhanced version of the traditional disc harrow and is suitable for hard, heavy or weedy soil. Our heavy duty harrow plough is usually composed of multiple heavy-duty disc harrow blades, which have strong soil penetration and pulverization capabilities and are often used in large-scale farms or reclamation operations.

Components of the heavy duty plough

The rake blade is the main working component of the heavy duty plough , usually made of high-strength and wear-resistant 65 manganese steel. The rake blade has a large diameter and is mostly in the shape of a concave disc.

The rake frame: It is a framework structure that supports the heavy duty plough, usually made of high-strength steel, and has sufficient strength and rigidity to withstand the soil resistance and impact force that the rake blades encounter during operation.

Transport wheels: Installed on the harrow frame, they are used to support the heavy harrow during transportation, allowing the heavy duty plough to smoothly travel on the road. During operation, the transport wheels can be raised by hydraulic or mechanical devices, enabling the harrow blades to come into contact with the ground for farming.

Working principle of the disc harrow

Soil flipping: As the rake blades rotate, the soil is lifted along the concave surface of the rake leaves to a certain height and then flipped downward, thereby achieving the effects of loosening the soil, weeding and mixing fertilizers.

Function of the disc harrow

Farmland operation: Agricultural disc harrow have strong soil entry and crushing abilities, and can be used for farmland operations to plow, loosen, and crush hard soil, creating favorable soil conditions for subsequent sowing, fertilization, and other operations.

Trimming and weeding: After harvesting, the disc harrow can chop up residual crop straw and weeds and bury them in the soil, achieving the purpose of stubble removal and weeding, reducing the growth and spread of pests and diseases.

 Leveling the land:Heavy harrows can level the soil during the operation process,making the surface flatter,beneficial for irrigation and drainage,improving land utilization and crop growth quality.
