This machine is designed for digging one row of potatoes / sweet potatoes.one row potato digger It is mounted on four wheel tractor with 20 to 120 hp by rear PTO driven. The machine is equipped with a conveyor belt where the ridge is dug, then it is shaken on a sieve belt where plant tuber / root is passed and partially separated from soil. The dug potato / sweet potato is then thrown back on the ridge and is deposited behind the machine where it is covered with a properly profiled chute grate in order to limit tuber damage by the tractor tires during the next digging pass of the conveyor.

A vibratory motion of the digging pan fractures and cuts the soil ahead of the machine allowing the potato digger to dig faster than a human being could hand dig. This unique design allows the Power Potato Digger to harvest a full row of spuds in about two minutes.
